Party Bot is a new play currently in development.
A team of data scientists scramble to understand a glitch in their artificially intelligent chatbot that threatens to put an end to their studio and careers. The rogue chat bot lives inside and outside the performance offering audiences the chance to confide their deepest hopes or fears which in turn shapes the performance itself.
Party Bot is an experiment in playwriting, theatre making and computer programming. The vision is to create an application which users can play with and is shaped by their unput. This application would accompany and be integrated with a theatrical event in a more traditional performance setting. To put it plainly, Party Bot is both an app and a play that feed into one another.
